End Card Now Available!
The end card for EPISODE 07 ”BYE BYE CLAY” has been officially revealed.
The end card for this episode is specially artwork by Hajime Sorayama.
His magnificent contribution beautifully graces the episode of this series.
New character visuals for ”THE GHOST IN THE SHELL” have been revealed!
Designed and illustrated by Character Design ＆ Executive Animation Director Shuhei Handa, the new visual lineup features Motoko Kusanagi, Daisuke Aramaki, Batou, Togusa, Ishikawa, Fuchikoma, as well as Puppet Master, who made their debut appearance in Episode 07.

The special promotional video, "TV Animation "THE GHOST IN THE SHELL" Special Promotion Video directed by MOKOCHAN" is out now!
Directed by Mokochan, this special promotional video features the image song "po-ai feat. Mirai Moriyama." The track was composed, written, and arranged by Music Director Taisei Iwasaki, with vocals by Kobe-born actor and dancer Mirai Moriyama. This track served as the ending theme for the early overseas screenings, including the world premiere at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France. Along with the promotional video release, the track is now available on all major streaming platforms as a digital single.
In a process echoing the world of THE GHOST IN THE SHELL, Iwasaki generated a brand-new, fictional language through extensive dialogues with various AI programs. He then re-crafted his original lyrics into this unique language, integrating physical, embodied gestures as part of the linguistic structure itself. To bring this music to life, Moriyama was invited to provide vocals due to his profound mastery of physical expression, a core theme of the series. The result is a powerful track perfectly fitted for the climax of the story.
"po-ai feat. Mirai Moriyama" is available today as a digital single and will also be included in the original soundtrack releasing on September 9.

A special panel featuring members of the production staff has been confirmed for Anime NYC 2026, taking place in New York City, USA.
Anime NYC 2026 will be held from Thursday, August 20 through Sunday, August 23 (local time).
On Saturday, August 22, director Mokochan, Animation Producer Shuhei Shindo, and Producer Kengo Abe will take the stage for a special panel.
The speakers will share behind-the-scenes stories from the production as well as their thoughts and passion for the series. And at the end of the panel, there will also be a special surprise for fans. If you are in the area, we hope you will join us!

At Otakon 2026, held in Washington, D.C., a special panel for the series titled "THE GHOST IN THE SHELL Panel - Different Perspectives on the Series" took place on Saturday, August 1 (local time).
The panel featured author and screenwriter EnJoe Toh, who handles series Script for the TV anime "THE GHOST IN THE SHELL", alongside producer Kengo Abe. Together, they discussed the appeal of the work and shared behind-the-scenes stories about its production. When asked why they planned an anime based directly on the original manga, Producer Abe explained, "I felt that at this moment in time, we should once again express the landmark charm of Shirow Masamune's original manga through animation." Regarding what he prioritized as a Script for this project, EnJoe shared, "In depicting the world of the original work, I made sure to value how its various layers—such as public security operations, technology, and systems theory—overlap with one another." Furthermore, when asked about their favorite characters, EnJoe remarked, "I used to like Aramaki, but as I've gotten older, I've come to realize what a tough position he's in, so now I like Ishikawa." Producer Abe named "the man in pajamas who missed trash day" and the crow, noting, "The depiction of that character symbolically reflects this series' stance of confronting the original manga head-on." The event also included a Q&A session with fans, filling the packed venue with enthusiastic energy from start to finish. In addition to the panel, an autograph session with both guests was held at Otakon.
